An Interview With Mint Condition

Mint Condition has to be one of my all time favorite R&B bands. I think, I have every song they ever sung. The band members are Stokley Williams, Ricky Kinchen, Homer O'Dell, Larry Waddell, and Jeffery Allen. The group, Mint Condition started in the 80's, however I became a fan in the 90's.

• Meant to Be Mint
  Released back in 1991, Meant to Be Mint hit singles were -- Are you Free, Breaking My Heart aka Pretty Brown Eyes and Forever In your Eyes.
• From The Mint Factory
  Released back in 1993, From The Mint Factory hit singles were -- Nobody Does it Betta, U Send Me Swingin, someone to Love, So Fine.
• Definition of a Band
  Released back in 1996, Definition of A Band hit singles were -- What Kind of Man Would I Be, You Don't Have To Hurt No More.
• Life's Aquarium
  Released back in 1999, Life's Aquarium hit singles were -- If You love Me and Is This Pain our Pleasure.
• Livin' The Luxury Brown
  Released back in 2005, Livin' The Luxury Brown hit singles were -- Whoaa and I'm Ready.
• E-Life
  Released back in 2008, E-Life hit singles were Baby Boy, Baby Girl and nothing Left To Say. 

Although the group, Mint Condition is classified as an R&B band, you can hear the jazz influence in their music.  Over the years, Mint Condition has be honored for their music; receiving the Best R&B Soul Album in 2005 and 1997 and Best R&B Soul Single in 1997.  They also won the title -- Album of the year and Duo  of the year in 2008.
