An Interview with Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx was born Eric Marlon Bishop. The talents of Jamie Foxx have lead him to actor, singer and even stand up comedy. He is an Academy Award winner, Golden Globe holders, and a Grammy nominated star.

Jamie Foxx was born on December 13, 1967 which made him a Sagittarius -- same sign as me.  He grew up in Terrell, Texas and was raised by his Grandmother.  Jaime began by singing in church and taking piano lessons.  However, Foxx was also into sports.  Jamie played basketball and football in high school.  He continued his education at the United States International University. 

 In 1989, Jamie began his stand up comedy routines.  He then adopted the name Jamie, because he realized that women comedians went on first.  The last name Foxx came from one of Jamie's idols -- Redd Foxx.  Before Jamie starred in any movies, Jamie was one of the cast members of "In Living Color".  He then went on to the "Jamie Foxx Show".

Jamie didn't star in a movie until 1997.  What was Jamie's first movie -- Booty Call.  Since 1997, Jamie has starred in:

• The Kingdom 

Jamie's first attempt at music was in 1994.  "Peep This" released on Jamie Foxx own label didn't really made the big times.  Jamie hit the Billboard's Hot 100 with songs like:
