Dictator For Life - Julius Caesar
Julius Caesar was named Dictator Peretuus in 44 B.C. While is equal to "Dictator for Life" in Rome. Caesar was killed by sixty members of the senate. The assassins stabbed Caesar with dagger (knife) that were hidden under their robes. It's reported that Caesar died under the statue of Pompey with 23 stab wounds.
Mark Antony
Caesar's Assisinations
After killing Caesar the senate was left with the question "What to do next". It appears that killing Caesar was the only thing that was planned out. With only a small group of gladiators behind the senate, how would they hold back Mark Antony who was sure to seek power. Mark Antony at the time had control over most of Romes legion. So, without a way out the senate suffered the avenge of Caesar's death brought by Mark Antony.

i really likes this video it was really good and it helped with my history homework
The life of Julius Caesar is fascinating to me. I've watched the movie, "Julius Caesar-His Time Has Come," several times now and I think it was played wonderfully by Jeremy Sisto; the other actors played their parts very well also. The movie mentioned the 15 years of civil war that broke out after his murder, and the murder of the son he had with Cleopatra as well as the untimely deaths of Cassius, Brutus, and the others who killed him.

OK guys he was assinated by his best friend Brutus and they were hugging and while they were hugging Brutus stabbed him.
I didn't watch the video. Julius was stabbed 27 times 26 by the senators and 1 time by his best friend Brutus. H e was killed because he became too powerful and wanted to be honored as a god. He had a baby with cleapatra which was killed by octavian.
i would like to thank you for this film if caesar was as good looking as jeremy sisco he must HAVE BEEN HOT WITH LADIES,I HAVE READ HE WAS VERY POPULAR WITH THEM .ALSO I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT BECAME OF CALPURNIA AFTER JULIUS WAS MURDERED.MAYBE ILL HAVE TO WRITE A BOOK ON THIS.WHICH SHOULD BE E FUNNY ONE! REALLY THOUGH EVEN THE SERIES ROME.THEY DIDNT TELL YOU MUCH LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO CALPURNIA.ONLY THAT SHE WAS PROVIDED FOR.SHE DIDNT REMARRY,MAYBE BECAUSE AFTER JULIUS THERE WOULD NEVER BE ANYONE IN HER LIFE AGAIN ,TO MEASURE UP TO HIM... OR BECACAUSE THE PEOPLE WOULD ADMIRE HER FOR BEING FAITHFUL TO HIS MEMORY.
