- Going Green with Coffee Beans
- Coffee Skin Care
- Coffee Deodorizer
- Coffee Pest Control
Going Green with Coffee Beans
I personally have been using “used” coffee beans in my compost. Coffee beans are a great resource to help improve your soil; plus it’s a great way to recycle. Coffee beans have proven to be great for berry bushes and other vegetables.
Coffee Skin Care
Coffee contains many antioxidants, which makes it a great exfoliate to use. If you add some oil to your coffee grounds you can make an excellent anti cellulite paste. Some people have been creating coffee soap, which is reported to give you a little “pick me up” with your morning shower.
Coffee Deodorizer
On non-staining surfaces, consider using used coffee grounds to rid nasty odors. It’s definitely a non-toxic way of leaving a pleasure scent. Use coffee to eliminate nasty odors around you sink drain.
Coffee Pest Control
Did you know that ants don’t like coffee? Using coffee beans where ant commune is a great non-toxic repellent that is safe for the rest of the family and pets. Other great way to use coffee is to put it where cats shouldn’t relieve themselves. Cats have been known to relieve themselves around plants. Therefore, sprinkling a few coffee beans in the plants soil will cause the cat to use its litter box.
